Scholarships are only available for students that reside or work, or who have parents that reside or work, in Summit County.

Student must currently attend one of the following high schools:
  • Lake County High School
  • South Park High School
  • Vail Mountain School
  • West Grand High School
Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic excellence, and extracurricular/community involvement. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.

Scholarship (Internal)
Students attending Summit High School, Snowy Peaks, and The Peak School are eligible to apply. Students who have a parent working for Summit County Government are considered first, however, all students meeting the following criteria are eligible: financial need, academic excellence, extracurricular/community involvement, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Summit Foundation is the largest scholarship provider in Summit County. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic excellence, and extracurricular/community involvement. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required. Students attending the following high schools are eligible to apply:
  • Summit High School
  • Snowy Peaks High School
  • The Peak School
  • Neighboring Community High Schools are eligible if student/parent works or lives in Summit County: Lake County, West Grand, South Park High School, or Vail Mountain
By applying to The Summit Foundation you are eligible for The Summit Foundation's scholarship as well as the following scholarships managed by The Foundation. You are automatically considered for the following scholarships, if you meet specific criteria, just by applying to The Summit Foundation.
